Saaho’s Delay Might Postpone The Release Of Chhichhorey

It is like a domino effect going on in Bollywood ever since the release date of Saaho has been delayed. First Prabhas’s high octane action thriller Saaho was supposed to clash with Mission Mangal and Batla House on 15^th August, but the date of release was postponed to 30^th August to avoid the super high voltage clash.

The new release date of the film was then announced to be 30^th August but that had its own issues. Apart from Saaho, Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhorey is also slated for a 30^th August release and so is Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy’s Made in China. In fact, with Chhicchorey Shradhha would have clashed with herself at the box office. However, given Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhorey is a smaller film than Saaho, the makers have decided to further push the release date of Chhichhorey to 6^th September.

A source close to the development said, “Yes, in all likelihood, the release of Chhichhore will be pushed by a week since Saaho, which was slated to release alongside Mission Mangal and Batla House, has shifted to August 30. Because of this shift, Chhichhore will face competition at the box office and to avoid this, the makers of the film are contemplating delaying its release by a week to September 6.”
