In an interview with Mumbai Mirror the actor also confirmed the several upcoming projects he has lined up and confirmed that he is indeed doing the Bollywood remake of Vikram Vedha and will be seen starring in film Lafdebaaz with Farhan Akhtar which also stars Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Talking about his role in the film Saif said, “My role in Lafdebaaz is of a dysfunctional, wild, slightly crazy father, which makes it quite interesting."

Putting an end to speculations about his future project he confirmed, "The films that I’m doing are Bunty Aur Babli 2, the film you just mentioned titled Lafdebaaz with Farhan (Akhtar) and Ritesh (Sidhwani), the Vikram Vedha remake and Bhoot Police.”

Siddhant Chaturvedi is also featuring Bunty Aur Bubli 2 in whch Saif has a cameo. Talking about the YRF project he said, "Just doing a comedy like this is a blast. And it’s a relief to be working with a producer who takes care of everything, so I only have to focus on acting. Since it’s a different cast, this Bunty Aur Babli doesn’t have anything to do with the original. The role is age-appropriate, and the bonus is that since my co-star Rani (Mukerji) also has a small child, the working hours are very civilised. I’m in heaven!"

Besides these films, post the announcement of Go Goa Gone 2 fans are hoping to see him return in the sequel of the zombie movie. Speaking about it Saif said that he has not been offered the film yet. "It will depend on whether I like the role I’m offered or if I’m even offered a role."

Saif’s brother-in-law and Gos Goa Gone co-star Kunal Kemmu is also clueless about the sequel and told IANS, “I have also read the announcement. Other than that, I don't have any knowledge. They (makers of the film) announced 'Go Goa Gone 2' twice in the last three years (laughs). There are logistical issues. Till the time we don't start shooting for the film, I will not believe it, because in the past two years I have been excited about that film on different levels and it's very close to my heart.”
