Salman Khan Cancels Annual Birthday Bash Owning To The Pandemic, A First In Many Years

The year 2020 has not given people many reasons to celebrate with even the festivals remaining dim and annual celebrations cancelled. Like most Diwali bashes this year Salman Khan too, it seems, has decided to keep his birthday plans low key this year.

The Bollywood superstar recently had a close call with Covid-19 after his personal driver and two cooks at his home tested positive for the virus. This led the actor and his family to go into immediate isolation and heighten precautions at work after testing negative while his fans remained tense.

A Bollywood Hungama report shared that the actor has canceled his annual birthday bash at his farmhouse which will be a first in many years. In fact, all celebrations at the Khan household stand cancelled and even Slaman’s parents’ anniversary on November 20 was a very small celebration at home. Salman’s birthday falls on December 27 when the actor hosts a big bash at his Panvel farmhouse followed by a New Year’s bash.

Salman spent majority of the lockdown at his Panvel farmhouse this year while all work commitments were put on hold owing to the pandemic. The superstar is now catching up on work commitments and had already wrapped up his film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and is expected to begin shoot for Antim soon. Meanwhile, he is spending his weekend shooting the ongoing season of the reality show Bigg Boss.
