Salman Khan Discloses Who Will Replace Vinod Khanna In Dabangg 3

Actor Salman Khan is all ready to make a comeback with the third franchise of his superhit film Dabangg. The actor is again collaborating with his Wanted Director Prabhudeva for Dabangg 3. The cast of the film has been kept the same by the makers of the film except for one actor, Vinod Khanna, The late Veteran actor who passed away last year due to illness. He was seen playing the character of Chulbul Pandey’s father in the film. As it would be difficult to fill his void but revealing the character who would be stepping into the shoes of  Khanna in the best possible way in Dabangg 3, will be Vinod Khanna’s brother Pramod Khanna. Salman Khan posted a video and gave a sneak peek. Pramod Khanna will now be seen playing Chulbul Pandey's father Prajapati.

Salman, Sonakshi and director Prabhudheva introduced Pramod in a video that starts with a portrait of Salman and Vinod Khanna. They then introduce Pramod Khanna, who is seen wearing a kurta pajama and somewhat resembles the late actor Vinod Khanna. Sonakshi is seen wearing a sari. She portrays the character of Rajjo in the film, while Salman is dressed in a  police uniform as Chulbul.

Talking about Dabangg 3, Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep will be seen playing the villain of the film. The Rann actor will have an action face-off with Salman Khan and will be seen showing a toned physique.  Arbaaz Khan will return as Chulbul’s half-brother Makhanchand Pandey or Makkhi, and Mahie Gill as Makkhi’s wife Nirmala. 

A source close to the film added “In Salman’s absence, Prabhudheva (director) will shoot Sudeep’s solo portions in the city. Since he is a big star down South, the plan is to present him in a certain way. He will also have a grand introduction. The film is set in the past and present and Sudeep’s character is involved in both. This time, it’s the antagonist who is the catalyst in the story,"

The shooting of Dabangg 3 started in April this year in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh and the movie is set to hit the theatres on December 20.
