Salman Khan excited about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 says writer KV Vijayendra Prasad who is trying to crack the sequel story

Bajrangi Bhaijaan remains one of Salman Khan’s most iconic films in recent times, which is still fresh in the memory of fans even six years later. The good news for the lovers of the film is that the blockbuster might soon get a sequel. The film’s writer KV Vijayendra Prasad said that he had a story for the sequel in mind.

Talking to Pinkvilla the popular story writer said that he had been trying to crack a narrative for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Vijayendra Prasad also added that Salman Khan knew about it and was excited about the idea.

“I am trying to crack Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Sometime back, I told Salman the idea and he is also excited. But I am looking for a proper vehicle to carry it forward. I hope it materialises,” Vijayendra Prasad told the portal recently.

Asked about his discussion with Salman about the project he added, “When I met him casually, I told him about Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel. He is excited with the thought and said it’s a good idea.”

Barjrangi Bhaijaan was a cross border drama about an Indian man crossing the border to Pakistan to reunite a young girl with her family. Salman’s performance and his camaraderie with the young Harshali Malhotra won several hearts. The the box-office, the movie earned over Rs. 300 crores when it released in 2015.
