    The book ‘Khantastic’ by Sanjukta Nandy based on the three Khans of Bollywood narrated an incident from Salman Khan’s childhood from when he lived in Indore with his family. The tale goes that Salman who was burning paper on Diwali with his brothers had also lit fire to his father Salim Khan’s entire salary.

    That’s right! Salman had run out of paper to burn and apparently had gone to find some more in his father’s study. The actor found a stack of papers to burn between which was tucked Salim Khan’s salary of Rs. 750.
