Salman Khan Shoots Solo For Tiger 3 As Katrina Kaif Recovers From Covid-19; No Change In Film's Schedule

As the second wave of Covid-19 grows strong in the country, on Tuesday Katrina Kaif informed fans that she has tested positive for Covid-19. She joins the growing list of celebrities who has tested positive in the past few weeks including names like Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar among others.

However, Katrina’s diagnosis has not affected the schedule of her film Tiger 3 which went on floors last month unlike the projects of many of her collegues. Vickyand Bhumi’s Mr. Lele shoot came to a halt after they tested positive just a day before Katrina while Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Ram Setu went on hold after Katrik and Akshay tested positive respectively. Reports suggest that Alia, who is in quarantine, has just one day worth of shoot left for her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi.

According to a Pinkvilla report, a week before testing positive, Katrina shot for some portions of Tiger 3 and is expected to resume shoot at the end of April which was part of the original plan. The actress is currently under quarantine at home. Meanwhile, the shoot of Tiger 3 continues with Salman Khan shooting some individual portions with filmmaker Maneesh Sharma.

Tiger 3 is a part of Yash Raj Films’ big 50 years celebration line-up and is expected to go bigger than ever. Katrina had been training rigorously for the film in preparation for some high octane action sequences.
