Salman Khan’s Antim pushed to November 26th instead of Diwali; will clash with John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate 2

Sometime back, actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar confirmed that his much awaited gangster-cop drama Antim: The Final Truth will see a theatrical release in November this year. The team was yet to decide a date but reports suggested that the Salman Khan-Aayush Sharma starrer might lock horns with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi on Diwali. Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the film has been ready for the big screen since over a year now. Well, according to latest buzz, Antim will clash with another much-anticipated film, but it’s not going to be Sooryavanshi.

A report shared by Mid Day has revealed that Antim has been pushed to November 26th, three weeks after Diwali, which is when John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 will arrive in theatres. A source was quoted saying, “After returning from the international schedule of Tiger 3, Salman filmed some solo dialogue scenes between October 4 and 6. The decision to add more sequences, featuring the actor, was taken jointly by Salman and Mahesh after seeing the rushes of the gangster-cop drama.” The film is now in the post-production phase and editing will take a little longer than expected, which is why this decision was taken for the release.

That’s not all! The source further revealed that Antim: The Final Truth will arrive on a digital platform just four weeks after its big screen release. While Aayush is playing the role of a gangster named Rahulya in the action thriller, Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman will be seen as a Sikh cop.
