Sandip Singh Reveals What Transpired On The Day Of Sushant Singh Rajput's Death After He Reached His Apartment: It Was A Nightmare

Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has left the nation shell-shocked. No one had the inkling that the actor with such a bright smile could be suffering from depression and we still can't come to terms with the fact that he is no more with us. He was found dead in his Bandra apartment and his close friends Mahesh Shetty and Sandip Ssingh were the ones to reach to his residence first. Now, the latter has revealed what had transpired after he received his heartbreaking news over a call!

Talking to Spotboye, Sandip said that like the rest of us, he did not believe the news at first. It took him over 10 minutes for it to sink in. When he went downstairs from his building, he met Mahesh Shetty, and the two headed to Sushnat's apartment. He revealed, "We reached, saw the media standing out me and Mahesh went to the sixth floor. It's then it hit us what actually has happened. There was no one from the family and we didn't know what to do? The moment I saw Mahesh completely falling, that was the time I felt this is the time where I have to control myself. And I know nobody will be able to come forward right now because they will take time to sync in."

Sushant was found hanging in his room on the morning of June 14 and Sandip and Mahesh Shetty were the first to reach among those who knew the actor. Sandip added, "There were a lot of procedures that had to get completed. I don't know how to explain that but we had to get Sushant down, take him to the ambulance and then Cooper hospital for the postmortem. Go back to his home and get Nitu Didi back to the hospital. Seeing him on that stretcher and then signing all those papers. Then the media after us. The whole moment has hit my heart, my mind and my eyes forever. I was called back by the Police as there was a lot of paperwork to be done for which I had to get his pan card, Aadhar card from his wallet and that was difficult at that moment. I had to also stay back in the hospital until the postmortem happened. It was a nightmare."

He also added that he is supporting the investigation fully and said, "I took the responsibility from the hospital to shamshan ghat. And even now, a lot of paperwork is needed to support the police investigation. So, Mahesh, his family and I are trying to support the investigation completely."

If those who had only seen him on screen could be affected so much by his passing away, we can only imagine what the condition of his near and dear ones would be like. We hope Sandip finds the strength to deal with this irreplaceable loss!
