Sanya Malhotra Gets Her Little Finger Reconstructed After Nearly Slicing It Off In A Freak Accident At Home

Staying at home is the safest bet against coronavirus but certainly not against freak accidents that one might run into especially while living alone. Dangal actress Sanya Mahotra had nearly a week ago post a picture of her little finger in cast and mentioned something about crazy 9 days.

Well, now it has come to light that the actress had an accident in the kitchen while attempting to make chutney on May 14. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the lid of the blender flew off and in trying to replace it her little finger got whirled into the machine. Needless to say, there was blood as the actress cut the little finger of her left hand pretty bad which was nearly sliced off according to the report.

Narrating what happened a source close to the actress told the publication, “Sanya was all alone at home and had started feeling drowsy due to loss of blood. She called a friend over to keep her from fainting while another rushed her to a suburban hospital where, after testing negative for Covid-19 she was admitted.”

Apparently Sanya suffered two fractures, one dislocation, and two-three major cuts on her fingers and those ‘9 crazy days’ were spent at the hospital in recovery and getting her finger reconstructed in an immediate surgery. The report also claimed that Sanya is now trying to get back home to Delhi where her parents live as managing affairs at home alone are difficult given the surgery.
