Senior Marathi Actor Avinash Kharshikar Succumbs To Massive Heart Attack At 74
Veteran Marathi actor Avinash Kharshikar succumbed to a massive heart attack and breathed his last in Thane's Bethany hospital at 10:30 AM, today.
The actor’s son-in-law Milind Shinde confirmed the news and also stated he will be performing the late actor's last rites.
Kharshikar’s family informed that he was not keeping well from the last few days and suffered a massive heart attack at his Thane home on Thursday. He was declared dead during the treatment.
Actress Renuka Shahane, comedian Siddharth Jadhav and others took to social media to mourn the death of the actor.
Rehnuka Shahe took to her Twitter handle wrote in Marathi, “Avinash Kharshikar passes away.”
Comedian Siddharth took to his official Twitter handle to pay tribute to the late actor as well. He wrote in Marathi, “Senior actor Avinash Kharshikar passes away due to massive heart attack... Heartfelt condolences.”
The actor was 74 years old was known for his roles in films like bakul Namdev Ghotale, Parwane, Majhya Navra Tujhi Bayko, Sau Shashi Deodhar, Daivache Khel, Majha Chakula Maherchi Pahuni and many more.
