Shabana Azmi Asks Kangana To Stick To Acting, Rangoli Responds: Why Do You Actively Participate In Anti-India Politics?

Actress Kangana Ranaut has been a headline maker these past few months for her bold statements on social media. Be it pertaining to Bollywood’s drug nexus or Sushant Singh Rajput’s death the actress always has an opinion and is unafraid to take on the biggest of names in the industry.

Her statements no doubt irk more than enough people in the industry and when veteran star Shabana Azmi spoke about Kangana’s constant need to be in the headlines her sister and manager Rangoli wasn’t take it sitting down. Condemning Shabana, Rangoli wrote in her Instagram stories, "Here comes the suicide gang! Dear Shabana ji I have a few questions for you and your husband. Why don't you both also stick to your respective acting and poetry? Why do you guys actively participate in anti-India politics? To remain in headlines? Or you feel for certain issues? If your anti-India agendas are genuine then why can't her pro-India agendas be genuine as well? Why different rules for her and different for you?"

Shabana in an interview with Mumbai Mirror had said, “I think she [Kangana] fears the day when she will no longer be in the headlines and so has to keep making outrageous statements to stay in the news. Poor girl, why doesn't she just do what she is best at, which is acting.”
