Shah Rukh Khan And Son Aryan Will Give Voice To Mufasa And Simba In The Lion King!

The moment the trailer of The Lion King came out, our excitement knew no bounds. The Lion King is an iconic film, and probably every 90s kids have some memories attached to it. Now that the nostalgia is all set to be refreshed, there would be more surprise for those who would decide to go for the Hindi dubbed version of the film. Because the Hindi version will have Shah Rukh Khan and son Aryan Khan, together!

Yes, you read that right. After Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, where Aryan Khan played baby SRK on-screen, the father-son duo will come together for The Lion King- or more specifically will lend their voices to the film. SRK will give voice to King Mufasa and Aryan will be the voice behind none other than Simba.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh Khan said,

“Voicing the father-son duo of Mufasa and Simba has been such a wonderful personal and professional moment for Aryan and me. It will be really special to watch this movie with our little one, AbRam, as he is a big fan of the film. And watching his big brother and father voice the characters in this live-action version is surely going to make it a memorable experience. I hope families can make some happy memories together watching the Lion King, as much as my family had fun being a part of it.”

There was news of Aryan’s debut doing the rounds a few weeks back. While it was said that Aryan is keen to debut in a super hero flick, some claimed that Shah Rukh has been in talks with Hollywood producers about the launch of Aryan. Some even mentioned that he might debut with a Karan Johar film!
