Shahid Kapoor Believes Kabir Singh Is A Unique Film, Says 'People Can Relate To Him So Easily'

As fans are counting days for the release of Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh to release the actor has is busy promoting the film on various platforms. While the list of reasons we have to want to watch the movie is endless including powerful performances, incredible music and a story that we are excited about, Shahid Kapoor also revealed what makes the film unique.

According to him the sheer intensity of the film and the lead character makes it really unique. IANS quoted him saying, "It's what attracted me to the film in the first place. I believe there is a Kabir Singh inside everyone. That's why people can relate to him so easily," Shahid said in a statement.

The film which is a remake of the popular Telugu flick Arjun Reddy is the story of Kabir (Shahid), a young final year medical student who falls in love with Preeti, his junior in college. Kiara essays the role of a simple college girl Preeti in the film.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, it is set to release on June 21.
