Shahid Kapoor Replaced By Anil Kapoor In Vikramaditya Motwane AK V/S SK, Film To Be Renamed AK V/S AK

If memory serves you well, you would remember that Vikramaditya Motwane was all set to make a film starring Shahid Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap with Shahid as the hero and Kashyap as the main antagonist. In fact, the film was also named after their initials AK and SK. However, due to undisclosed reasons, Shahid Kapoor exited from the film and the project was shelved thereafter.

But now it seems, the project is being revived and Anil Kapoor has been brought in to fill in Shahid’s shoes. In fact, with Anil Kapoor coming aboard for the project, the name of the film is also being changed AK V/S AK following Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s initials. While further specifics are yet to be confirmed, it is being reported that the paperwork for the same is already underway.

Talking about Shahid Kapoor, the actor is still basking in the glory of the success of his last films Kabir Singh which managed to become his career’s biggest hits and one of the highest grossers of this year. Shahid will next be seen in the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Jersey where he plays a cricketer. He will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time with the Super 30 actress Mrunal Thakur in the film and the shoot for the same is already in process.
