Shahid Kapoor Reveals What His Next Project After Jersey Will Be; Take A Look

Before social-distancing and home quarantine began, the handsome and incredibly talented Shahid Kapoor was busy shooting for his much-awaited film Jersey. Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, the sports film is an official remake of the 2019 Telugu hit with the same name. Also featuring Mrunal Thakur, the film marks Shahid’s on-screen reunion with his father and veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, four long years after Shaandaar. Jersey is scheduled to hit theatres on 28^th August.

Well, the actor has been extremely active on social media and is spending some of his free time at home by interacting with his fans and followers. He has also held two interesting Q&A sessions on Instagram so far and has promised many more during the 21-day long national lockdown. Interestingly, last night a fan asked Shahid if he will be featuring in an action film any time soon. Much to our delight, the actor replied, “Yes after jersey. The next one is an action film.” We are sure this piece of news will leave Shahid’s fans overjoyed!

The actor was last seen on the big screen in Sandeep Vanga’s Kabir Singh. Co-starring the gorgeous Kiara Advani, the romantic drama is a remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy which features South superstar Vijay Deverakonda. Kabir Singh became the second highest grossing Bollywood film of 2019.
