Shakuntala Devi Motion Poster: Vidya Balan Doubles Up As The Human Computer, Shoot Begins Today

Vidya Balan has a number of biopics lined up for her. It was said that she might play Indira Gandhi for a Netflix project. And then, she was to play Shakuntala Devi in her biopic. Well, the shoot for Shakuntala Devi has begun from today, and she has also shared the motion poster for the film.

In the motion poster, we get to see Vidya’s look as Shakuntala Devi.

 Iit also introduces to us why her story was so incredible. It has been explained that while most of us start with the simple table of 1, Shakuntala Devi jumped directly into the cube root of 16777216. While this number might intimidate most of us, she played with them, earning the title of ‘human computer’. It also reveals the adjectives that were used to describe her. While on one hand there’s ‘genius’, ‘sharp’ and ‘witty’, there are also other adjectives like ‘selfish’ and ‘ruthless’. Check out the promo here:

The shoot has started today and the film is to release next year. Looking at the poster, we just cannot hold our excitement.

Vidya Balan will also be seen playing Indira Gandhi for a Netflix project. She will team up with Paa director R. Balki for Mahila Mandali, which will co-star Akshay Kumar. She will also be seen in the Telugu film, Thala 59.
