Sharman And Mansi Joshi's Father, Theatre Artist Arvind Joshi Passes Away, Paresh Rawal And Other Celebs Pay Tribute

Theatre artist Arvind Joshi is no more. The thespian, who is also Sharman Joshi and Mansi Joshi's father, has passed away today in Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital, according to a report in Film Information.

The cause of his death has not been revealed yet. It is also not known when his last rites would be held. The actor has been a known name in the theatre circle and also the Gujrati theatre and film circle. In fact, Arvind Joshi had also been a part of Bollywood films like Ittefaq, Apmaan Ki Aag, and Sholay. He is now survived by his wife, and his children- Sharman Joshi and Mansi Joshi.

Many celebs, including Paresh Rawal, paid tribute. 

Director Anil Sharma also paid his tribute:

It was just a day back when Sharman Joshi spoke about his family. Talking to IANS, he said, "I still feel like an outsider. I understand that there is certain monogamy of certain generations of families that have been in business, and tomorrow my children would enjoy the fruit of my presence in the Hindi cinema. I have established relationships with people, and they will get the advantage. It is about the time spent in the business and familiarity. There have been experiences and adventures that people share. I understand that but I do feel a little sorry for me sometimes, that I was not connected to a film industry family. I was born into a theatre family, though, so I have plenty of experience on that front."

We hope the family finds the strength to deal with this irreplaceable loss. May the departed soul rest in peace.
