Shekhar Suman Opens Up On Son Adhyayan Suman's Suicide Hoax: 'We Died A Thousand Deaths Until We Reached Him'

Actor Shekhar Suman is seething with anger after a news channel proclaimed that his son Adhyayan Suman had died due to suicide. The actor who posted a series of tweets lashing out at the channel now wants to take legal action for running the story.

On Monday, Shekhar shared a video showing the news run by a media outlet and revealed that his son Adhyayan was in New Delhi and unreachable at the time when the family saw this news ‘died a thousand deaths.’

Calling the channel’s act irresponsible and reprehensible Shekhar while talking to Spotboye said, “We are not relenting at all. The damage caused by them cannot be compensated for by a mere apology. We are going all the way as far as possible legally. We want this case to be an example for all those who put out highly damaging and defamatory news just for hits and TRPs. We want that they should think of how deeply damaging irresponsible reportage can be.”

Talking about when he heard the news Shekhar added, “When my wife Alka and I heard this we were numbed. Adhyayan was in Delhi and his phone was out of reach. We died a thousand deaths until we reached him. Just announcing to the world that my son has committed suicide... it’s absolutely unpardonable. You can imagine what my wife and I went through.”

Shehkhar has been vocal in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and has been seeking justice for the deceased actor and his family for a few months
