Sherni: Shoot Of Vidya Balan Starrer Stopped After Actress Refused To Dine With Minister?

Vidya Balan's upcoming film, Sherni, seems to be grabbing the headlines time and again. The film, where we would see the actress play a forest officer, is currently being shot in Madhya Pradesh. If rumours are to be believed, then the shoot of the film has stopped.

According to a report in Spotboye, a state minister of Madhya Pradesh had requested Vidya Balan to dine with him. However, the actress refused to partake in any such thing and after that, the shoot has come to a halt. The report also mentions that the minister in question has denied these allegations. But a source was quoted by the portal saying, “I don’t know what exactly happened. But there was talk about a minister’s request for lunch and when the request was turned down, the crew’s vehicles were refused permission to enter the forest the next day for shooting.”

Amit Manshukhani, who is directing the film after Newton, was also contacted by the portal; but while he did not deny the news, he also maintained silence about it. It was just a few weeks back that a crew member had alleged misconduct by actor Vijay Raaz. Following the allegations, the actor was dropped from the project altogether! Well, we hope that the film does not run into more problems in the future and the problems get sorted soon.
