Shraddha Kapoor Remembers Chhichhore Co-Star Sushant Singh Rajput; Says ‘He Danced To His Own Tune’

Sushant Singh Rajput was not only a talented actor, but also a wonderful performer. Watching him shine on the big screen, full of energy and enthusiasm, used to make his fans smile. He left us heartbroken when he bid a final adieu to the world on 14^th June. His friends, family and fans were devastated. Sushant’s Chhichhore co-star Shraddha Kapoor, who attended his funeral on 15^th, took to her social media handle today to remember the amazing human being that he was. Along with a beautiful note, she shared a picture of a special message that Sushant had written for her on the first page of the book ‘The Secret Principles of Genius’. It read: “Dear Shraddha, genius is in the ways of seeing. How you choose to see is beautiful.”

Shraddha shared that she has been trying to accept what has happened and coming to terms with it is very difficult. She wrote: “There is a huge void... Sushant...! Dearest Sush...! Full of humility, intelligence, curiosity about life, seeing beauty in everything, everywhere! He danced to his own tune! I always looked forward to seeing him on set, wondering what captivating interaction we would have next! Apart from being a wonderful co-actor who put his heart and soul in to his work, he was at his core, an amazing person. He cared for people and wanted to see them happy. His kind smile, the conversations we had at shoot about the Cosmos, different philosophies, the moments we spent together, were filled with magical wonderment!”

Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore was Sushant’s last release on the silver screen. His performance was mind-blowing, as always, and his superb chemistry with Shraddha left us wanting more. He gave it his all and proved that he is a star! Sushant’s untimely demise left a void in the industry and our lives. But he will continue to live on in our hearts and memories forever. Rest in peace superstar.
