Shruti Modi Alleges Sushant Singh Rajput Was In The Hospital After Fight With Sisters, They Knew About Substance Abuse

As new details emerge in the CBI investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death the truth in the story is becoming more and more convoluted. Earlier Rhea Chakraborty alleged that Sushant’s family was aware of his medical condition and prescriptions and now the actor’s former manager Shruti Modi’s lawyer alleges that his sisters were also aware of the substance abuse and attended parties at Suhsant’s home where it was all out in the open.

Modi’s advocate Ashok Saraogi told India Today in an interview that Sushant was using drugs much before dating Rhea and his driver and bodyguard Sohail Sagar procured the drugs. He even mentioned that it isn’t possible that the family never knew about the drug problem.

He claims, “There were many parties at Rajput's residence which were attended by his sisters also where substance abuse was done.” He also stated that WhatsApp groups existed where drugs were discussed and everyone in the group including Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant were using drugs.

He further alleged that Sushant’s relationship wasn’t cordial with his family. Citing an incident from November 2019 he stated that three of Sushant’s sisters were visiting him but left him after a huge fight and checked into a hotel. He states that actor admitted himself into a hospital after this incident.

"In November 2019, three of his sisters had come to meet him and they were to fly back together. But around November 27, there was a huge fight that happened at night in the house and the next day all the three sisters checked into hotel Lalit. Sushant suffered so much due to this that he admitted himself into the Hinduja Hospital at Khar on 28th. When he was there, his father had called one of the staff members saying that he wanted to speak to Rajput but the actor refused to speak to him. He said that talking to his family has already landed him at the hospital, talking to his father would deteriorate his condition further and refused to take that call," advocate Saraogi told the channel.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family however maintains that drugs were administered to the late actor by Rhea and also have said that they were not aware of the actor being depressed.
