Sidharth Malhotra Signs An Espionage Thriller, To Shoot The Film Before Working On Thadam Remake?

The coronavirus outbreak and the ensuing lockdown might have put a brake on a lot of things, including normalcy as we knew it. For our favourite celebs, it was a time off their busy schedules. We had expected that they would be swamped with work once shoots resumed since it would mean wrapping up films that they had already signed. But dedicated and workaholic as they are, the stars seem to be signing more films. After Akshay Kumar signed a new film and Kartik Aaryan decided to wrap a new film before resuming shoot of the ones he was already working on, now Sidharth too has bagged a new project. In fact, like Kartik, he would shoot for this one first!

According to a report in Mid Day, the film in question would be an espionage thriller that would be helmed by a debutant director. A source quoted by the daily said, "Sidharth loved the script and came on board immediately. Conceptualised as a slick thriller that is high on action, the movie will see him play a spy. The actor is expected to begin the prep by December-end before the director calls for action in January. The Hindi adaptation of Thadam, which is to be directed by Vardhan Ketkar, has been pushed for now."

Whoa, we would surely have quite a few Sidharth Malhotra films to looks forward to! His film Shershah is in post-production and would release in 2021.
