Sona Mohapatra Tweets About Anu Malik Wanting To Strike A Deal With Her, Says The Answer Is No

The initiative by singer Sona Mohapatra to bring ace music director Anu Malik to justice for his alleged sexual misconduct is getting intense with every passing day. Today, the firebrand singer took to Twitter to announce that Anu Malik has tried to get in touch with her through the Music Director’s Association of India. She also revealed that he has been wanting to strike a deal with her. Check out the tweet:

However, Sona has made her stance clear on the matter and has point black refused to strike any sort of deal on behalf of the aggrieved women.  Sona also informed that they have a ‘locus standi’ on the matter which means ‘the right or capacity to bring an action or to appear in a court.’

Previously, Sona was excited to finally witness the removal of Anu Malik as the judge on the judge on Indian Idol, an agenda she has been pushing for a while. However, Malik demanded that he was not ousted from the show but has just taken a voluntary exit till he clears his name of all the allegations of sexual misconduct. Apart from Sona, other singers such as Neha Bhasin and Shweta Pandit have also come forward and shared their experience of harassment from Anu Malik while others like Hema Sardesai has shown his support to the music director.
