Sonakshi Sinha Defends Akshay Kumar After Netizens Slam Him For His ‘Hari Bhari’ Comment

Recently, Akshay Kumar landed himself in hot water when he commented that he likes his actresses to be ‘hari bhari’ and not ‘chusa hua aam’ while talking about Sonakshi Sinha. Expectedly, the actors were lambasted on social media for his comments which were perceived to be misogynistic by many.

However, his co-star from films like Rowdy Rathore and Mission Mangal came out in his support and basically asked trollers to get a life. Sonakshi said that she shares a great professional and personal equation with Akshay and thus he was talking about a friend and not a random person. She added that she has faced a lot of criticism for her body in the industry and Akshay was being a gentleman and trying to defend her. She also argued that if she does not have a problem with it then people should also let things be and not dig up things and make an issue out of it.

Talking about their upcoming films, Akshay is currently busy promoting his upcoming Diwali release Housefull 4 after which he has films like Good News, Sooryavanshi, Laxxmi Bomb and Bachchan Pandey among others. Coming to Sonakshi Sinha, she will be seen reprising her role as Rajjo in Dabanng 3 and will also be a part of Bhuj: The Pride Of India.
