Sonu Sood Opens His Hotel In Juhu For Healthcare Workers, Says ‘This Is The Least We Can Do For Them’

Bollywood has come together as an unit to support those who need help during the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, even after contributing money to the PM –CARES and CM’s relief funds, the stars are trying to go an extra mile and help everyone out there. Earlier Hrithik Roshan and Varun Dhawan decided to provide meals to the needy and to hospital staff so as to help them out. Now, actor Sonu Sood has also joined in the initiative.

Sonu Sood is also the owner of hotel chains in Mumbai and during the crisis, he has decided to open up his 6-storey hotel in Juhu for healthcare providers. Talking to BT about this gesture, he said, “It’s my honour to be able to do my bit for the doctors, nurses and para-medical staff of our country, who have been working day and night to save people’s lives. They hail from different parts of Mumbai and need a place to rest. We have already approached municipal and private hospitals and informed them about the facility.”

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri also offered their four-storey office in Bandra as a quarantine space to the Maharastra government. It is so heartening to see everyone come together as one during the time of crisis, isn’t it?
