    SP Balasubramanyam Tests Negative For Coronavirus, Reveals Son SPB Charan

    The COVID-19 pandemic in India is worsening with each passing day. Everyday someone or the other is testing positive for the virus. Singer S.P. Balasubramanyam had also tested positive for the coronavirus and has been in the hospital for about a month now. It was on the 14th August, ‘20 that his health deteriorated; but currently, he has been responding properly to his treatment.  

    The popular singer’s son S.P. Charan has been constantly posting updates about his father’s health on social media and is keeping his fans updated about the progress of his treatment.  

    Today, Charan once again took to his social media and posted a video wherein he revealed that his father has now tested negative for the virus. He started the video by apologising to all of his father’s fans and well-wishers for not being able to update them on the health condition of the singer over the weekend. 

    He further went on to state that the lungs of the singer are healing but they are taking ‘some time’. Charan added that there was a small felicitation of his father and his mother on the occasion of their anniversary. 

    He also revealed that his father [S.P.Balasubramanyam] is watching a lot of cricket and tennis on his iPad and that he is looking forward to the IPL.  He is heard saying, "Dad watches a lot of cricket and tennis on his iPad. He is glad the games have started, and looking forward to the IPL. He writes a lot and shares information actively. Physiotherapy treatment is ongoing as planned. He also thanked everyone once again for the love, care, and prayers."
