In the dry spell that coronavirus has cast over film productions, it was a welcome and exciting move on filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s part to have released that motion poster of his upcoming biggie RRR. The film starring Telugu stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR has a special place reserved for Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn whose character we don’t anything about yet.

The production of RRR was also halted like all other films amidst the coronavirus lockdown but Ajay Devgn ensured he finished his part and shot without a break on the last day of shoot.

Bahubali director in a chat with Rajeev Masand revealed how taken he was by Ajay’s simplicity on set and also revealed why he cast him in the project. Not divulging much Rajamouli said he picked Ajay because “there’s incredible amount of honesty on his face, whatever he says onscreen or off screen you believe it.”

Futhermore the RRR filmmaker said that when Ajay came on set not just him the entire crew was spell bound because of him simplicity. He revealed that Ajay never went into his vanity van that was always on standby unless he had to change. He added that on the last day when there was more some good amount of work felt to do and the crew decided to go without a break, Ajay just sat under a tree and had lunch for two minutes and then shot without breaks like anyone else on set.

According to the director the crew wondered if it was Ajay the star or just any other ordinary guy on set.

Now itsn’t that just wonderful on Ajay Devgn’s part.
