Sunny Deol, Shruti Haasan To Come Together For A Family Drama Helmed By Paa Director R. Balki?

The COVID-19 outbreak and the pandemic last year had sent us into a world of uncertainty. Just when we thought that probably we would be getting back to normal, the number of cases are seeing a spike! But, this hasn't brought down the plans and the preparations for the future. In the entertainment industry, new films are still being made and actors to directors to everyone wants to entertain the audiences during these difficult times. Now, a new film seems to be on the pipeline and this one would be directed by none other than R. Balki.

If a report by Peepingmoon is to be believed, then R. Balki is planning a family drama set in London. And he is reportedly in talks with Sunny Deol and Shruti Hasaan for this one. The report mentions that the drama would be around the emotional relationship between parents and their daughter, and while Sunny Deol would play the father, Shruti would be essaying the role of the daughter. The talks are on and both the stars have shown interest in the script, but nothing has been locked yet.

The film would reportedly go on floors by October 2021. Before this, R. Balki is expected to wrap up the shoot of a thriller with Dulquer Salmaan.
