Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has the nation’s attention for the past two months now, especially with new and astonishing details emerging in the matter every day. Currently, the Narcotics Control Bureau’s investigation exploring the leads suggesting drug links in the case has taken center stage.

While Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik are in the spotlight currently looks like the NCB is not going to stop with just the alleged perpetrators in this case but are also looking to expose the drug nexus in Bollywood that has come to be spoken about more frequently now in the news.

Recent reports suggest that tracing their leads that they have gained by joining the Sushant death probe NCB is now planning to send summons to some 25 big stars in Bollywood in the next 10 days.

According to Times Now, the number includes names of producers, directors and actors who might have links to the drug cartel.

As far as Sushant’s case is concerned, the NCB has Rhea brother Showik and Sushant’s staff members Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda in custody till September 9.

Mutha Ashok Jain, the NCB Deputy DG, South-Western Region  had earlier in an interview with Indian Express referred to Rhea and her brother as ‘small fish’ in the case and said, “There is a search for big fish in the drugs racket. NCB will investigate all international and interstate connections. We are still investigating. The court has given time till September 9. This is an open investigation. This is a network-based crime and we are trying to investigate that angle.”
