Sushant Singh Rajput And Saif Ali Khan To Add This Special Clause In Their Contracts After Their Recent Flops!

With the proliferation of the web platform, things are changing and they are changing really fast! A few days ago, we saw, actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive released on Netflix.  And not just that film there are many other films too that are releasing directly on the web platforms instead of the multiplexes.

Well as far as Drive is concerned, Karan Johar wanted the film to release online and once it released, we got to know why he didn’t want to risk it. Well, the film was panned by all and sundry and if in case the film would have had a traditional release, the producer would have really bored the brunt!

Now, turns out that Sushant Singh Rajput wasn’t quite happy with the release of his film online. According to a report on Pinkvilla, the actor was miffed at the makers due to the release of the films on the digital platform and that is the reason why he refrained from sharing any of the film promotional posters on his social media profiles! And now, along with actor Saif Ali Khan  (whose last release was the flop film Laal Kaptaan) Sushant has made sure to include a clause in all his contracts!

According to the same Pinkvilla report, Sushant wants to be informed beforehand if the film he is working in is for a web platform release. The report quotes a source as saying, “SSR was upset with the numerous delays in the release date of the project. By the end of it, he was clueless and he eventually lost interest completely. In fact, he didn't even put out or share any of the promos or trailer."

The source is further quotes as saying “Both of them have now added a contractual pointer that they aren't comfortable with a film, that's made for theatres, being released online. If there's remotely a plan to do something on the web, they want it all mentioned beforehand, which is also fair. Saif, too, faced a lot of back and forth on his last release Lal Kaptaan and although it eventually released in plexes, he was disappointed with the way it all panned out."

We at Desimartini.com are now wondering whether all their demands are going to be met up with or not by the producers! Well, only time will tell.
