Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI Official Need To Apply For Exemption From Quarantine Says Mumbai Says BMC Commissioner

With the reigns of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case in the hands of the Central Bureau Of Investigation officials from the agency are expected to arrive soon in Mumbai to  probe the circumstances surrounding the late actor’s death. However, like Bihar IPS officer Vinay Tiwari the CBI officials may have to face the quarantine hurdle too.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal told ANI that the CBI official will have to apply for an exemption from quarantine if they will stay in Mumbai for a period of over seven days.

The news agency quoted him saying, "If CBI team comes for 7 days they will be automatically exempted from quarantine and if they come for more than seven days period then they have to apply for exemption through our email id and we'll exempt them."

Prior to this IPS officer Vinay Tiwari who was sent to Mumbai to take over Patna Police’s investigation in Sushant’s death case was put in mandatory quarantine by the BMC and it resulted in a storm of allegations that claimed it was all an attempt to obstruct the investigation in the case.

Sushant’s family and the Bihar government won over actress Rhea Chakraborty in the apex court on Wednesday as the CBI probe in the case was sanctioned by the court and the actor’s father’s right to file an F.I.R in Patna was upheld.

Rhea Chakraborty is the main accused in Sushant’s father’s F.I.R and he has now alleged that his son was murdered.
