Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB Issues Summon To Rakul Preet Singh, Actress' Team Says She Hasn't Received It

Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is now looking more into the involvement of drugs and its consumption in Bollywood at large. More and more people are being questioned about consuming drugs or supplying it to various celebs. Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the NCB and put in jail till 6th October and her bail petition would be heard by the Bombay High Court today. Many actresses, including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh had also apparently been summoned by NCB for questioning.

Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan's names were said to have been taken by Rhea herself during questioning, but her lawyer claimed that the reports are absolutely false and that the actress has not mentioned any names whatsoever. Rakul Preet Singh's team had also claimed that she has not received any summons from the NCB yet. However, it looks like the officials of the Narcotics Control Board have something else to say.

According to ANI, a summon was issued for Rakul yesterday. Officials also said they tried to contact her through various platforms but couldn't. Check out the tweet here:

Has Rakul not recieved the summon and is that the reason why her team is denying it? Well, we will have to wait and see. Meanwhile, it is being said that Deepika would be taking a chartered flight from Goa, where she had been shooting for Shakun Batra's next to fly to Mumbai and meet the NCB officials.
