The Sushant Singh Rajput case is gradually turning out to be one of the most complicated cases of recent times. After the alleged drug connection in the case, literally, everyone has been talking about it.

Sandip Ssingh who claimed to be Sushant’s best friend was called out by the actor’s family on national TV for allegedly faking his relationship with the late actor and also for saying he knew every member of Sushant’s family. Some have even said, Sandip Ssingh might be having an ulterior motive for doing so. And now, finally, Ssingh has opened up to the media and spoke at length about the allegations that were being hurled on to him.

In an interview with IANS, Sandip spoke at length about the sexual assault allegations heaped on him and he also opened up about the thumbs-up gesture he made to a police constable at the Cooper Hospital. He stated that the gesture was meant for a police constable.

Ssingh told the agency that he was wearing a mask back then due to the COVID-19 situation. He claimed that he had been to the hospital with Meetu didi (Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister) one of the police constables asked, ‘Who is Sandip” and that is when he made the thumbs-up gesture to him to confirm it was him. He has been quoted as saying, "When I reached Cooper Hospital with Mitu didi (Sushant Singh's sister), a constable asked - Who is Sandip? To which, instead of shouting, I showed thumbs up to tell that I was the person. What was wrong with that? Should I have cared about my gesture at that time?"

Sandip further stated it was the same constable who escorted him and Meetu inside the hospital, he also stated that he met Meetu Singh on the same day.
