    Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Swara Bhasker Backs Mumbai Police ,Says 'We Have No Reason To Doubt Their Conduct'

    The nation is celebrating Sushant Singh Rajput’s case being taken over by the Central Bureau of Investigation after Supreme Court’s verdict on Wednesday dismissing actress Rhea Chakraborthy’s plea to transfer the case against to Mumbai Police. Actress Swara Bhasker, however has said we should have trusted the Mumbai police and should allow judiciary and the police to do their job.

    The actress who on Wednesday questioned why is it difficult to accept that that Sushant may have been depressed, has now in an interview with Pinkvilla extended support to the Mumbai police and said, “I don’t think it is fair to suggest that the Mumbai Police were not doing a good job or were not being professional. I think that there is a problem right there that we did not trust the Mumbai Police, we should have. We have no reason to doubt their conduct. I hope the CBI will now be allowed to do their job in a fair and impartial manner.”

    The actress agreed with Naseerudin Shah on Wendesday satting that the coverage on Sushant’s death is sickening and said that authorities must be allowed to do their job. She had told India Today, “Why is it so difficult for people to accept that he may have been depressed? I read an article where someone said that he didn’t look depressed, what theory is that? How can someone ‘look’ it?”

    Sushant Singh Rajut’s death was being probed by the Mumbai Police up until a month after his demise the actor’s father filed an F.I.R against Rhea Chakraborthy and five others in Patna. The Mumbai police questioned 56 people in relation to the actor’s death.
