Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Rhea Chakraborty Booked Under These Six Sections Of The IPC; This Is The Punishment

Rhea Chakraborty has been booked by the Patna Police in Suhsant Singh Rajput’s death case after the actor’s father KK Singh filed an F.I.R against her and few others building a case of abetment of suicide. The case so far was being handled by the Mumbai Police and the family was dissatisfied with the course it was taking. They did not approve of the depression theory and felt the case was moving in a different direction instead of exposing the culprits in the case.

According to the F.I.R Sushant’s family claims that the actor was being threatened by Rhea who did not support his decision to switch from acting to organic farming and over a disagreement left his home six days before his death with jewelry, cash and his medical reports too. The family has also alleged that she tried to distance the actor from his family who found it difficult to contact him while also claiming she got him under the influence of medicines and introduced him to doctors for his mental health.

The F.I.R also states that Rs. 15 crores were transferred from Sushant’s account to an account that had nothing to do with the actor and have said that Rhea also used the actor’s credit cards and booked herself a trip to Europe for an ad shoot.

These are some serious allegations and the punishment for these is also equally severe. Take a look at all the sections of the Indian Penal Code Rhea and five other individuals have been charged under and what punishment they entail.

Actress Rhea Chakraborty has petitioned in the Supreme Court after the F.I.R against her was filed in Patna expressing doubt over the investigation being carried out by the Patna Police and has requested for the case to be handed over to the Mumbai Police.

The actress has already been questioned by the Mumbai police in the case and no issues cropped up during that interrogation. She had also sought a CBI investigation in the matter when she tagged Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a post and promised her full cooperation in the investigation.
