Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case: Mahesh Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut Summoned For Questioning; Karan Johar’s Manager Has Been Called

The very talented and hard-working Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on 14^th June, leaving the entire nation in shock. He was found at his Bandra house and it was reported that he had been suffering from depression since the past few months. Soon rumors began doing the rounds about how he was being boycotted by Bollywood biggies and was shut out from the film industry by ‘self-appointed gatekeepers’. The Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case and so far 37 people have recorded their statements, including Sushant’s family members and girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Many big celebrities from the film industry were also called in for questioning, such as filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra and critic Rajeev Masand. It was recently reported that actress Kangana Ranaut was also asked to come to the Bandra Police station. Well, the latest report in Republic now states that even Mahesh Bhatt will be summoned by the Mumbai police on 27^th July. Talking to ANI about the case, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh stated, “Statements of 37 people recorded so far, Mahesh Bhatt to record his statement in a day or two. Summons sent to Kangana Ranaut to record her statement. Karan Johar's manager has been called, if needed,Johar will also be called.”

For the uninitiated, Karan Johar’s friend recently revealed that the filmmaker is in a bad state and is currently having a major mental breakdown. He has reportedly become a ‘broken man’ due to the brutal hatred he and his loved ones received after Sushant’s demise from trolls on social media.
