Sushant Singh Rajput Suspected Foul Play In His Financials, Shruti Modi Accused Of Hiding Bank Statements From Actor: Reports

Every person named in the Sushant Singh Rajput case has a different version of ‘what went wrong’ to narrate. While new angles emerge every day in the ongoing CBI investigation into the actor’s mysterious death, the Enforcement Directorate is looking into the case on suspicions of money laundering and looking into the actor’s financial transactions.

In relation to this big development being reported today is that the actor’s accountant Rajat Mewati has accused Shruti Modi of not sharing bank statements with the late actor when he asked her to. According to a Times Now report, Mewati told the CBI during interrogation that Sushant had allegedly suspect foul play in March as far as his finances were concerned and had asked Shruti Modi his former manager to send him all documents and financial statements related to his Kotak Mahindra bank account.

The report also suggests that Shruti, according to the accountant’s statements, instead of providing the details involved actress Rhea Chakraborty who reached Mount Blanc, Sushant’s apartment and spoke to him and the documents weren’t provided.

It has also been suggested that the late actor had reached out to his relationship manager at the bank 24 days prior to his death for his statements.

It is noteworthy that Shruti Modi who was also the manager for Rhea Chakraborty was reported to have said in her statement to the Mumbai Police initially that she had no contact with the deceased since February 2020.

Both Shruti and Rhea have been questioned by the ED and CBI in the case.
