Sushant Singh Rajput YRF Contract: Actor Was Paid Rs. 30 Lakhs For Shudh Desi Romance, Rs. 1 Crore For Byomkesh Bakshi

The case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is under investigation and the police is leaving no stone unturned in the attempt to determine what led the actor to take the fatal step of ending his own life. From his personal contacts to his professional links the police is looking at the case from all angles and just a few days back Yash Raj Films had submitted a copy of the actor’s contract to the police.

Some reports have now shared the details of Sushant’s three film deal with the production house and shared that the actor was to paid Rs. 30 lakhs for his first project with YRF and if the film would be a hit he would be paid Rs. 60 lakhs for his next and then Rs. 1 crore from his third film.

Based on this he paid Rs. 30 lakhs for Shudh Desi Romance but then earned Rs. 1 crores for Detective Bomkyesh Bakshi directed by Dibakar Banerjee despite the contract stating he would get paid Rs. 60 lakhs according to an Indian Today report.

The actor’s third film with the production house Paani which was to be directed by Shekhar Kapur did not materialize. The actor parted ways with YRF on an amicable note said a spokesperson from the production house to India Today and refrained from divulging more details about the contract.

Last week, Yash Raj’s casting director Shanoo Sharma’s statement was also recorded by the police.
