Two months after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death several questions are being raised on the initial investigation into his death as carried out by the Mumbai Police. While the late actor’s family alleges that police were careless in handling the matter and asked them to name a few production houses to carry out an investigation, their lawyer advocate Vikas Singh has now raised questions over the validity of the post mortem report.

Speaking to ANI Sushant’s father’s lawyer says that he postmortem report received by him doesn’t even mention the time of death. "The post mortem report that I have seen doesn't mention the time of death which is a crucial detail. Whether he was hanged after being killed or he died by hanging can be cleared with the time of death,” the agency quoted him saying. Sushant’s mortal remains were taken to the Dr. RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai where the postmortem was conducted.

The late actor’s father demands that the CBI investigates the case after naming Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others in F.I.R filed in Patna with claims that they abetted the suicide of the actor. A four-member team from Patna that was investigating the case in Mumbai for a few days was also denied a copy of the postmortem by the hospital.

Meanwhile, Rhea has a petition for the transfer of the Patna case to the Mumbai police.
