    T-Series issues statement after Bhushan Kumar gets accused of rape, company claims woman tried to extort money

    T-Series honcho Bhushan Kuamr has released a statement after being named in an F.I.R with allegations of rape. According to the police official the T-Series MD raped the woman on pretext of providing her with a job. According to the statement shared by the music record company on behalf of Bhushan claim that the allegations are ‘false and malicious’.

    The woman already worked at T-series and that she tried to extort money from the music label for which a complaint was filed against her by the company on July 1 says the statement.

    "The complaint filed against Mr. Bhushan Kumar is completely false and malicious and the contents of the same are denied. It has been falsely alleged that the lady in question was sexually exploited between 2017 to 2020 on the pretext of giving her work,” the statement from T-series began.

    “It is a matter of record that she has already worked for T-Series banner in Film and music videos. Around March 2021 she approached Mr. Bhushan Kumar seeking help to fund one of the web series which she wanted to produce, which was politely refused. Thereafter, in June 2021 after the lifting of lockdown in Maharashtra she started approaching the T-Series banner in collusion with her accomplice demanding a huge sum of money as an extortion amount. Consequently, a complaint was filed by T-Series banner against the attempted extortion with police at Amboli police station on 1st July 2021,” it further claimed.

    Addressing the complaint filed by the lady in question it T-Series states, “We also have evidence in the form of audio recording for the extortion attempt and the same shall be provided to investigating agency. The present complaint filed by her is nothing but a counterblast to the complaint filed against her and her accomplice for the offense of extortion. We are in the process of consulting our lawyers in this regard and will take appropriate legal action.”

    The F.I.R against Bhushan Kumar has been filed under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation). No arrests have been made in the case yet.
