Taapsee Pannu Confirms Playing Mithali Raj In Her Biopic Shabaash Mitthu, Pens A Heartfelt Birthday Note For The Captain Of Indian Women Cricket Team

Taapsee Pannu would soon be seen in former India Women Cricket Team captain Mithali Raj’s biopic Shabaash Mithu. The actress has already started prepping for the same and is pretty pumped to play the dynamic lady on screen.

On the occasion of her birthday, Taapsee penned down a rather sweet and heartfelt note for Mithali., She wrote, “Happy Birthday Captain @M_Raj03 On this Birthday, I don’t know what gift I can give you but this promise that I shall give it all I have to make sure you will be proud of what you see of yourself on screen with #ShabaashMithu  P.S- I’m all prepared to learn THE ‘cover drive”

The film will be helmed by national-award winning director Rahul Dholakia and is will come out some time in next year. Previously, talking about the film, Taapsee had said, “The script is not in place so it's too early to talk about it. Right now, they are collecting material and the script has not been written yet. If they offer me, I will be very happy. I really want to do a sports biopic” Apart from this, the actor will also be a part of another sports biopic, Rashmi Rocket, which will trace the journey of athlete Rashmi from the Kutch region of Gujarat.
