Bollywood actress Kangana. Ranaut and sister and manager Rangoli Chandel have been making headlines even before the promotion for Judgementall Hai Kya had kickstarted. From the entire Sunaina Roshan controversy to taking on star kids for just being star kids, Rangoli had made everyone her target. But, recently she also took on Taapsee Pannu for not mentioning Kangana's name, even though she was all praises for Judgementall Hai Kya. In fact, she even called Pannu a 'sasti' copy of her sister. Taapsee had not reacted to it, but did not shy away from taking a dig on her.

Taapsee is all set for her upcoming film, Mission Mangal, that will hit the theatres on Independence Day. The actress was asked about Kangana's comment while she was promoting the film. Talking to a leading daily, the actress said that many industry friends, other than Anurag Kashyap, also wanted to retort back. She said,

“Not just Anurag, a few other close friends from the industry also wanted to retort, but I stopped them because I don’t want to give her any mileage on my behalf. She can't play the nepotism card with me because I have also struggled to reach where I am today. I didn’t want to engage in a word battle because I would not be able to match their language."

The actress also specifically address the 'sasti copy' comment and said,

“I didn’t know there was a copyright on curly hair, which I was born with, and honest opinions. I’m not going to apologise for it. As far as being “sasti” is concerned, Kangana claims to be the highest-paid actress,so I guess I am the “sasti” version.”

Well, Taapsee also clarified the 'double filter' comment that had enraged Rangoli and Kangana so much. She said,

“We are both opinionated and speak our mind which is a good thing except that sometimes it lands us in trouble. I had said that in a positive manner and not meant for it to be derogatory. In fact, I have often said Kangana’s an actor I look up to, my conscience is clear. It was weird to target me, that’s why it backfired."

Well, we are not sure how Kangana and Rangoli will take Taapsee's comments now.
