Taapsee Pannu Wants To Play Late Minister Sushma Swaraj In Her Biopic!

Taapsee Pannu might be busy with a number of films and right now she has immersed herself in promoting her next film, Mission Mangal, but the actress seems to be hungry for more. She wants to do everything possible and has also said that except for going bald for a film, she is ready for just anything! In a recent interview, the actress also revealed that she would love to portray former external minister Sushma Swaraj on-screen if she ever gets a chance.

Talking to a leading daily, Taapsee talked about how much she admired Sushma Swaraj, who passed away on 6^th August late at night. She said,

"When I was in school, I used to stop when I would see Sushmaji speaking on TV. She was a great leader and a wonderful person. I am a fan of Sushma ji and always will be. I won't let go of any opportunity to play her on screen. Who wouldn't want to do a biopic on such a great leader?"

In fact, Vidya Balan, who was also present to promote Mission Mangal, also talked about how great a leader she was. She also revealed that she had once met Mrs. Swaraj at the airport and was mesmerised by her aura.

Mission Mangal is all set to release on 15^th of August and the multi starrer film, that also stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi SInha, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen amongst others, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year!
