Thank God: Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra And Rakul Preet Singh To Shoot For Indra Kumar's Comedy From September?

Those who had been waiting to visit the theatres might have to wait a long time before it reopens but looks like shoots will begin in full swing within some time. Shoots of many films had resumed already from June end, but the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Mumbai and some of the most popular and revered celebs getting affected with it, like the Bachchans, have resulted in a frenzy. After news of Bigg Boss shoot resuming from September had been doing the rounds, we are now getting to hear that Indra Kumar's upcoming comedy film, Thank God, might go on floors in September.

Thank God would have Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra sharing screen space, along with Rakul Preet Singh. According to a report in Mid-Day, a source was quoted saying, "Come September, the first schedule will be conducted at a set in Mumbai, in adherence to the safety guidelines. A chunk of the movie has to be shot in the United Kingdom; the makers will chalk out the foreign leg once the international travel restrictions are lifted. The project was to originally go on floors on April 10, but was impacted by the lockdown."

It has also been said that Ajay will play a "bitter and bankrupt middle-aged man, who gets a new lease of life after a car crash." He will apparently focus on Maidaan once he completes a schedule of Thank God.

With Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet in the lead, all we can say is that we are super excited for this one.
