Our love for Bollywood and Indian TV industry is second to none, but that does not mean we make or condone bizarre claims. Over the years, Bollywood and TV industry have been indiscriminately ‘inspired’ by several Western films and TV shows and we have strangely managed to work up an appetite for that.

However, the problem arises when they make draw comparisons that are not only bizarre but downright laughable. From comparing Game of Thrones to Naagin to drawing parallels between Dilwale and Inception, these celebs really made us scratch our head because of their weird comparisons.

Recently, Ekta Kapoor went on a tirade against audiences who find Game of Thrones cool and make fun of Naagin. She argues if people can find dragons cool, then what’s the issue with Naagins? She also compared Jon Snow’s resurrection in the show to Mihir coming back from the dead.

Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan made himself a sitting duck for trolls when he made a seriously bizarre comparison. During a promotional event for Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, Varun went ahead and compared it to Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece Inception. What went down after that was brutal, but we have still not got over how bizarre the comparison was, or how disappointing the Dilwale was for that matter.
