Tiger Shroff collaborating with his idol Hrithik Roshan for their upcoming film War has to be a highlight of his career and the actor speaks rather fondly of his co-star each time he is asked about it. In another recent interaction, Tiger Shroff spoke about how he used to watch one Hrithik Roshan song before sleeping to match steps with him in their recently released song Jai Jai Shiv Shankar.

In an interview with Mid Day Tiger was asked if dancing just like Hrithik in the song was a coincident and he replied, “I knew I wanted to dance like him. So, I used to watch one song of Hrithik every night before sleeping. I would go to sleep thinking of the steps. The next morning, I would recreate those moves. That was my training."

In the same conversation, Tiger also spoke about the first meeting with Hrithik that he remembers and he revealed he met him when he was 14 and he recalled "A mutual friend took me over to his place to work out at his gym. He was happy to see me because he had known me since King Uncle [1993] — he was an assistant director on the film, and my dad [Jackie Shroff] featured in it. I have little recollection of having met him then because I was a toddler.”

The two actors are playing undercover agents in War, with Hrithik playing Tiger’s mentor Kabir who has gone rogue. The film will see a faceoff between them in the action drama that is all set to release on 2 October.
