Twinkle Khanna opens up on having opposing views from Akshay Kumar, talks about the comments thrown her way due to this

Twinkle Khanna recently shared her views on the many questions that are thrown towards women whether it is about losing weight or their decisions about marriages. The author in her blog wrote about how Adele was called out by other women for losing weight while Malala became the target of trolls for deciding to tie the knot.

The former actress spoke about how many women consider it their right to comment on the marriages of others and she projected the issue on her own marriage with actor Akshay Kumar. She wrote in her blog on Times of India,“If I paid attention to the comments thrown my way, then either I should get a divorce because my partner and I hold opposing views on multiple issues or wear a sari and gyrate to Tip Tip Barsa Pani on alternate weekends to keep the marriage alive.”

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have been married for over two decades now and have two children Aarav and Nitara.

Twinkle defended Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yusufzai who was recently called a hypocrite for tying the knot recently. Malala had once spoken against marriages and the news of her recent wedding came as a curprise to many after that statement. Twinkle spoke in Malala’s famour saying after having a taken a bullet in her head standing up for other girls she is certainly entitled to change her mind.

“It’s almost comical that no matter what you choose to do, there will always be people telling you that your choices are not good enough. Tragically, after hearing it time and again, we begin to believe all these voices too,” she added.
