Twitter Revisits Karan Johar's Alleged 'Drug' Party As New Narcotic Links Emerge In Sushant Case, Question Bollywood's Silence

Rhea Chakraborty’s name is now being linked to a new angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case as certain deleted WhatsApp chats of the actress suggest that was possible involvement of drugs. The new angle came to light after ED in a meeting with CBI officials probing the case handed over  some evidence suggesting drug links.

While Rhea’s chats have found their way online with fresh accusations on her for administering illegal drugs to the deceased actor, Twitter was reminded of Karan Johar’s party from not so long ago which blew up in the headlines after there were allegations that stars present were under the influence of drugs.

The recreational use of drugs by Bollywood stars was the subject of a long controversy after Karan Johar shared video last year of a party he hosted at his home. Stars like Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor Vicky Kaushal, Zoya Akhtar, Aayan Mukherjee were present at the party which was widely discussed on social media as the stars looked as if they were high.

Vicky Kaushal who has starred in patriotic drama Uri and is all set to play Sam Manekshaw in an upcoming film was especially targeted where angry tweeps posted his pictures from the party video and also said that he didn’t deserve to play Manakeshaw.

Bollywood’s radio silence was questioned in the new drug angle in Sushant’s case as people alleged that the entire industry is into drug use and therefore refraining from comments.
