Unfair And Lovely: Randeep Hooda And Ileana D’Cruz Sign A New Film Together On Colour Bias

For the past few days, there had been reports that Randeep Hooda is all set to be a part of a comedy that will be about colour bias. It was also reported that Zoya Hussain might star alongside her. But, she could not give her dates for the film due to her prior commitments. Well, the makers have now roped in Ileana D’Cruz opposite the star in the film titles ‘Unfair and Lovely’.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Ileana is excited to play a ‘relatable character’ in the film. She said, “This role is different from all my earlier work and a challenging one. The character requires a lot of sensitivity and I’m waiting to see how it unfolds. I can assure you that the film will leave you with a smile.”

Randeep too is excited to explore comedy. He said, “I do have a lighter side to me and when I heard this story, I was instantly hooked."

The film was to go on floors this October. The story will be revolving around a small town in Haryana. Earlier, the subject of colour bias was dealt with in Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam starrer Bala. The film will mark the directorial debut of Balwinder Singh, who has been the scriptwriter for Saand Ki Aankh and Mubarakan.
